460 cases of violations of election law in Punjab

There were 460 cases of violations of election laws registered during the elections this year. While seven cases were registered on charges of murder, attempt to murder and grievous hurt. The high voter turnout (71.97 percent) in the Vidhan Sabha Elections held on Tuesday is an indication of fact that people of Punjab have turned out to exercise their democratic right of franchise.
