Badal announces 62 candidates for elections, steals march from Congress

Rushing to announce tickets within a day of the announcement of elections, Akali Dal chief Parkash Singh Badal released a list of 62 candidates today. The Congress, which is yet to get over its factional fight is still nowhere near candidate selection.
However, Badal played a tactical move of clearing the names of most sitting MLAs but alongwith also announced the name of Bikramjit Singh Majithia, brother in law of Sukhbir Singh Badal, his son. Bikramjit would contest from Majithia constituency.....for full story read more...
