Government of India has finally waived off the outstanding security related debt of Rs. 3772 crore thereby conceding to the long pending demand of Punjab Govt.
Disclosing this here today, a spokesman of the Punjab Government said that this security related debt was initially waived off by P.V. Narsimha Rao Govt. when Dr. Manmohan Singh was the Finance Minister.....read full story
