Punjab Chief Minister to hold special darbar for police

Punjab Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh has decided to hold an open Police Welfare Darbar for them at Police lines Patiala on December 23.
Disclosing this here today a spokesman of the state police said that the focus of open Darbar besides initiating long term police reforms would also to look into the problems being faced by the police force especially those stationed in far flung remote areas. It would also provide an opportunity to have interaction with larger number of police personnel and assess problems as well as other related issues like career prospects, improvement in training and measures for professionalizing the force....read more.
