Keeping in view the prevailing hot weather in the state the Punjab Government has pre-poned the date of summer vacations in all the schools. Now these vacations would starts from11 th May and the schools would remain closed till June 30.
Announcing this decision here today Mr. Harnam Das Johar School Education Minister Punjab said that as mercury was rising no respite seems from the scorching heat, this decision had been taken so that the student should not suffer from this hostile weather. He urged the students to use these holidays by giving more attentions to their home work and extra study so that they could further excel in their examination.
He also advised the teachers to go through reference books in these days to equip themselves from the latest trends in the schools education.
