Continuing with string of populist announcements, Akali Dal chief Parkash Singh Badal today announced that his party would provide wheat flour (atta) are Rs 4 per kg and pulses (daal) at Rs 20 per kg when their party is voted to power.
He also declared that the alliances government would continue with its old programme of free power to farmers and would also abolish abiana for canal irrigation imposed by Amarinder Government. Read full story
