Punjab Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh today categorically said that the massive participation of the people in the today's rally at the native village of Parkash Singh Badal the so called stronghold of Akalis in the Malwa belt was indicative of the acknowledgement of the pro-people policies and programmes of Congress party and a strong wave in its favour that was bound to prove a shot in the arm of the Congress over its arch rival SAD during the forthcoming assembly elections in the state.
